Shorebridge Coffee Co. is a Virginia based start-up that supports the development of local oragnic plantations. They makes and distributes locally fresh farmed organic coffee and hopes to expands their business by opening local cafes. Their target audience are locals who seek the rustic home feel, while at the same time being contemporary.
Creative Solution —
Drawing on the experience of drinking the same coffee in the same space, a shared feeling but peripheral connection, I worked with Shorebridge Coffee Co. to develop a visual identity and packaging for its coffee ranges. This is characterised by the simple and textural, and the precise and immediate, unified by a thoughtful and subtle concept, the use of topographic lines, organic seasonal pattern, and the demarcation and crossing of space.
Logo & Packaging —
Platforming from the creative idea, the surrounding landscape, and the support of local oragnic farm development, I created a visual identity for Shorebridge Coffee. This is built around rustic landscape references, the crafted details but geometric foundations of custom typography, and a modernity in color used in the assembly of individual graphic elements online and in print across coffee cups, packaging, and other merchandise.
